This project is so special for me, I have been documenting the relationship between me and my grandmother for years. The first pictures were taken around 2007 when I was starting to look for objects to photograph. I wanted to shoot portraits or document people around me. My grandma was one of those people.

Taking pictures of her was at the same time a kind of effort to stop time and keep as many memories from our trips and times spent together as possible.

Grandma is a very cheerful and optimistic person, hard to overlook thanks to her beautiful blue hair. She’s had it ever since I can remember. As I mentioned, her optimism and kind-heartedness are her main human qualities.

As years went by, the number of pictures grew and I thought it would be a good idea to show them to the world.
